How It All Started: A Journey of Passion, Care, and Family
In July 2003, a dream that had been forming for years finally came to life. That dream was inhommn.com—a place where elder care could truly feel like home. For me, this journey began long before I founded the company. It started with my family, my roots, and the incredible example my mother set when I was just a boy.
I came to the United States in 1998 at the age of 12, leaving behind my home in Ukraine. Starting over in a new country wasn’t easy, but I was lucky to have a family that taught me the value of resilience and care. One of my most vivid memories is watching my mother care for my grandparents in our home. She didn’t just tend to their needs—she gave them dignity, comfort, and love. That selflessness shaped my understanding of what care truly means.
A Personal Mission
That experience left a lasting impression on me. It showed me the profound impact of care and planted the seed for what would one day become inhommn.com. I wanted to help other families experience what my mother created for my grandparents—a home environment where seniors felt cherished, supported, and at peace in a space they recognized as their own.
Bringing the Vision to Life
In 2003, I decided to take a leap of faith. My mission was clear: to provide families with compassionate, personalized elder care that empowers seniors to live with dignity and independence. Starting this business wasn’t easy. There was no roadmap, only my deep belief in the value of what we were offering.
From day one, I understood that this work was about more than providing services. It was about building relationships. Every family we’ve served reminded me of my own, and every senior we cared for brought back memories of my grandparents.
Growing Through Passion and Dedication
Becoming a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) has been instrumental in ensuring that our care is both compassionate and informed. Over the years, I’ve worked tirelessly to build a team that shares the same values that inspired me from the start: compassion, respect, and a genuine commitment to improving lives.
Our team has grown steadily, but we’ve never lost sight of our roots. Every family we meet and every story we hear strengthens our mission to make a difference.
Did you know that 77% of adults aged 50 and older want to remain in their homes as they age? This statistic reminds me why we do what we do—helping families make that desire a reality.
We’ve also focused on the benefits of home care, ensuring that our services provide independence while maintaining safety and comfort. Resources like the Family Caregiver Alliance and Eldercare.gov have been invaluable in guiding families through this journey.
A Bright Future
Today, inhommn.com is more than just a business—it’s a community. It’s a place where families find not only care but understanding and support. I’m incredibly proud of how far we’ve come, but I know there’s still so much more to do.
As I look back on this journey, I feel a deep sense of gratitude—for my family, my team, and every senior and family we’ve had the privilege to serve. They’ve all shaped this mission into what it is today.
If you’re navigating care decisions, I encourage you to explore resources like home safety tips for older adults and care options for seniors. Together, we can ensure your loved ones are cared for with compassion and dignity.
Thank you for being part of our story. Here’s to continuing this journey together, providing care that feels like family.
